The name of this blog is unique. I’m sure people will respond with a “huh”? The title comes from a conversation that I had with my husband before we were even dating. We were talking to each other, kinda testing the waters, and I mentioned my interest in comparative mythology. It’s rather arcane but I have always found it interesting that the bull is the center of most world religions. Bill found it (and me) interesting and suggested that I do a dissertation on the topic and title it “Bovine Bloviations.” So the title represents a little of our past history together, and our coinciding nerdiness.
The purpose of this blog is random discussions about religion, politics, and education. Most of my blogs will likely be from a conservative viewpoint since that is the point of view from which I am coming. But I’m sure I’ll cross over from time to time-nothing in life is ever just one sided. However, I want to welcome a wide variety of viewpoints because I am always learning and amending my views. Please comment on any post you feel passionate about. I will be monitoring so any less than acceptable posts (i.e. X rated or personal attacks) will be deleted. Have fun and learn from each other.
